On Route 66 in Downtown Lincoln

In 1994, Dr. Sam Redding opened Prairie Years, offering teacher supplies and used books. Having worked in education for many years and heading the Academic Development Institute (a nationally recognized educational influence right above Prairie Years' store), Dr. Redding had the desire to provide a location in Downtown Lincoln that brought the community together for the good of our children. Prairie Years is located right on Historic Route 66 off the square where Abraham Lincoln once practiced law.
